Change the Memory Usage

To change the maximum allowed memory usage:

  1. Go to the file <Sintelix installation directory> The directory in which the Sintelix program has been installed, for example, C:\Program Files (x86)\Sintelix.\server\runserver.cmd
  2. Locate the line that defines the variable HEAPMAX.
  3. Change this to a plain number in megabytes.

    4. Values lower than 3000 and higher than available RAM are not recommended.

  4. To apply the changes, and restart the Sintelix service (see Start, Stop and Restart Sintelix)

    5. If you reinstall Sintelix, any changes you made to memory settings will be overridden by system defaults so you will need to make the changes again.
