Create a New Node

To create a new node entry:

1. Select Create New from the dropdown menu for the entity node (See Networks Overview Pane).

   

   Result: The Create Node tab is opened in the Side Bar panel.

   If a default Custom Form is not set for this Node type, the Default Form is displayed.

   

   If a default Custom Form is set for this Node type, the Custom Form tab is selected and the default form is displayed.

   

   You can change the custom form by selected the dropdown and choosing a different custom form.

2. Complete the required fields and select Create (at the bottom of the form).

   Result: The node is created and added to the Network table. The Create Node tab is closed.

The form used to create new nodes can be customised and set as a default.

The custom forms are created in the Network Custom Templates.

In the Ontology Configuration, you can assign a Node with default forms, including the default Creation form.
