What is a Project?
A project A container that stores all the collections, networks, and configurations. is the primary file container in Sintelix, which contains Collections A collection is a container for storing and organising ingested files and documents. Only the textual content is stored in collections, not the original files and documents., Networks A container that stores information in nodes and links. See Nodes and Links topic for more information and Configurations A group of settings that enable you to control the way in which a specific process or function in Sintelix works..
Access Projects
The first step in Sintelix is to create or select a project.
To access projects, you select the Projects tab.
The Projects screen has three panes:
Manage Projects
The Manage Projects pane allows you to manage all Projects, where you can:
- Open a project by selecting the Project name
- Create a Project
- Copy a Project
- Import a Project
- Export a Project
- Rename a Project
- Manage Project Security, and
- Delete a Project.
Manage a Selected Project
The central panel allows you to manage a Selected Project, where you can:

rename, copy, export, delete the selected project

apply security for a project

manage Collections (of documents), where you can create, copy, rename or delete a Collection.

manage Networks (of data extracted from documents for analysis), where you can create, copy, rename or delete a Network.

link to Configurations (of settings and instructions to control how documents are ingested, marked up and captured as data) to view the settings applied.
You will only see configurations, if your user role is a Configurer.
Project Pages
View and/or manage Project Pages.
Project Pages give you a place to publish instructions, notes, etc. related to a project.
For example, you may take notes on your progress in a project, or document standards to be applied to a project.
Some demo projects come with Project Pages already prepared, as shown below, that can step you through how to use the project.
With the required permissions, you can create, edit, delete and print Project Pages.
All users can read Project Pages.
